Jury's reasoning: Order and disorder, order and chaos are fundamental phenomena of cosmology as well as everyday life, of art as well as housework. The statements "bringing order to chaos" and "bringing order to chaos" (Adorno), aimed at artistic endeavors, are constant processes to which the tidying housewife is also subject. With her installation, Joanna Schulte wittily and humorously points to the value and worthlessness of this Sisyphean task, thereby creating an allegory that even touches upon the cosmological conditions of entropy. The glorification and aestheticization of everyday objects used to create order are considered in the concept, as is the ordinary manual labor itself, which "opens the space of meditative emptiness with the freedom for dreamlike, creative mental work" (JS): Thus, in the inescapable principle of order and disorder, both the everyday struggle of the cleaning woman and that of the artist is foreshadowed.
